Fresh Anointing

About a month and a half ago, Benny Hinn taught me to consider anointing in this video.
Prior to this video coming into my life, I was becoming religious about renewing my spirit each morning through prayer and a daily verse and maybe a devotional, too. Keeping the anointing has become very much more powerful and effective in my life and prayer.

I agree with regular prayer, reading the Word and some devotional prompting is important on a regular or daily basis. Routines can be healthy, comforting and rewarding. However, prayer and having a relationship with God doesn’t need to be scheduled or on a timer. I cast down this religious spirit. We cannot put God in a box or impose limits on when or how we fellowship with Him. I’m not saying don’t pray or don’t say your Hail Mary’s or don’t have faith. But certainly don’t put any “Gods before me,” (Exodus 20:3) or “sets up idols in your heart” (Ezekiel 14:4). Jesus is the only One we need!

I know that Jesus is sitting in heaven praying for me (and for each one of His Children), continually. He is the example. Routinely, in the bible, Jesus withdraws “to be with His Father, He who sent me” and prays, honors, listens, abides. Why would I not honor Him in this same way? I recommend that we pray continually. Don’t ghost the Holy Ghost. Don’t wait until it’s convenient or appropriate. It’s always a good idea to pray, seek and soak. His light is for “all in the house” (Matthew 5:14-15). I compel you to visit His House, continually.

When you do pray, do be patient. Let’s say you pray for one minute, then say to God something like “…‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening,’” (1 Samuel 3:9) and give Him a few minutes to reply. Rinse and repeat. Don’t be in a rush, and remember it’s two-way communications. Be sure to minister to the Lord simply through praises, worship and acts of adoration to the Lord. He loves you so much.

1 John 2:27 (CSB)
27 As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need anyone to teach you. Instead, his anointing teaches you about all things and is true and is not a lie; just as it has taught you, remain in him.

The anointing comes fresh everyday. It feels additional, building and growing. The good news: there is more anointing from whom that comes from, an endless supply. Each day, I experience different levels of anointing, but it does remain and persist. Thank you for the anointing. Seeking and soaking in the Lord, and giving all praise and glory to Jesus, and saying I love you, Holy Spirit. Thanksgiving and PRAISE THE LORD in ALL things.

2 Corinthians 13:14 (NIV)
14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Paul prays three ideas (grace, love, fellowship) to us “know the Spirit of God” and it shall abide with me, teach me and remind me of all good things (John 14:16-17, 26). God wants my fellowship. I now understand He is the best friend I could have.

For further reading about unction and gifts, follow this blog link below… Which says, you will receive the measure, gift and anointing depending on you. “He gives the anointing by measures to us… God is going to give you a greater measure of anointing. The operation and perfection of a gift depends on us not on God. It is our responsibility.” God bless!
