Seeking the presence of God,
Nothing else matters.
Your glory fills this place,
We fall on our face.
Worship the one living God.
He is faithful.
He is righteous.
All glory is His.
Shed the earthly crowns,
Pick up the cross.
He is holy, overcomes sin.
Purify my walk and let Him in.
The lord of the earth is without,
Like pigs in filth. (2Pet 2:22)
The spirit of God is truth.
Take off the old man,
He’s buried, passed away.
Create in me a clean heart,
Give me a willing soul. (Ps 51:10-12)
Stand steadfast in your love.
Whatever is excellent, lovely,
These things are my focus. (Phil 4:8)
Look above the body, where
Christ is the head. (Col 1:18)
How great is your love,
You alone abide above.
Takes away my sighs. (Isa 35:10)
My need, His supply. (Phil 4:19)
When I thirst, His milk is plenty. (1Pet 2:2)
When I hunger, His Word fills me. (Mat 4:4, Job 23:12)
The merciful shall receive mercy. (Mat 5:7)
Peacemakers we are called to be. (Mat 5:9)
Blessed are all who take,
Take refuge in Him. (Ps 34:8)
Truth makes correction.
His will is the connection.
He brings the glory.
(2Cor 3:3)
Truth written on my heart.
I am a letter to the testament,
Not written with ink.
But by the spirit of God.
Teach us to abide in You.
Teach us to listen to You.
“Do exactly as He says,” (Jn 2:5) and turn on the lights.

and uphold me with a willing spirit.
