• What’s significant is that Jesus doesn’t ask God to provide His needs for tomorrow or next week — He only asks for His needs today.
• Jesus teaches us to depend on God to meet our needs day by day.
• God wants us to bring everything to Him in prayer — even the small things. God cares about us and our needs.
• Dependence on God takes trust — but when we trust in Him, we end up living by God’s power and provision rather than our own.
• Take some time today and thank God for what He has given you, and ask God to continue to meet our needs each and every day.

Prayer: God, thank you for Your provision and faithfulness even when I fall short. Help me to seek You first every day through Your Word — for You alone will sustain me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God is able to support us when we’re weak, and strengthen us when we feel weary. Spend a few moments focusing on how strong and powerful He is, and give Him whatever praise comes to mind. Praise the Lord in all things.

Psalm 121:1-2 (NIV)
¹ I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
² My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

Sit with this verse for a few minutes. Then, talk to God and let Him know where you need help.

Prayer: God, at all times, let Your will be done in me. I know this isn’t and easy thing to say. I know that following You requires accepting struggles that are beyond my control. But I also know that Your plans are good, and I want to take part in those plans. So today, I surrender. Teach me Your will. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
