Measure of Faith

The way we imagine God is the way we experience God. The way we project God is the way God is according to us. God gives us a measure of faith because of His grace and mercy, because He loves us (Ephesians). Faith comes from God in the form of a gift (Ephesians 2:8).

Luke 6:36-38 (NKJV)
36 Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful. 37 “Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

Words of Knowledge (in faith)

We’re all given a measure of faith to disciple in the gifts of the spirit. Walk in love and grace knowing that measure is in us all. Be a vessel of glory and truth. Go forth into the scattered nations and preach the Good News: The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Bring light to a dark world, the light that is the true light of the Lord. Deliver the love of the Father, and the rivers of living water shall flow. Declaring there is hope and there is freedom. Go, speak Jesus. The unction will come to those with ears, let them hear. Be shaken and pressed down until we shake no longer. Pour out the fresh wine into fresh wine skins, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us (Rom5‬:‭5‬).

All earthly desires shall be crushed and sent down the river. The living water shall flow to the feet of Jesus. For he who has died has been freed from sin. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness (Rom6‬:‭7‬,18). And we dance with the knowledge of Christ inside us, rejoice and praise the Lord in all things. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord ‭‭(Rom6‬:‭23). Thank you for your faithfulness, Lord our God, king of the universe. Praise the Lord! Amen.

Ephesians 4:7 (CSB)
7 Now grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift.
2 Corinthians 10:13 (NKJV)
13 We, however, will not boast beyond measure, but within the limits of the sphere which God appointed us—a sphere which especially includes you.
Romans 12:2-3 (NKJV)
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

Metron—Measure (of faith)

Paul said we all have been given Gifts to function or operate in the Ministry according to the Measure of the Gift of Grace (Romans 12:3-6). Metron—Measure.

John the Baptist said God gave Jesus the Holy Spirit without Measure (or an unlimited Measure) so He can operate in the Ministry (John 3:34). Metron—Measure.

Metron—Measure is also found in the story about “The parable of the Sower” in (Mark 4:1-24), Jesus relates a story of a farmer who went out to sow seeds in the ground; he then illustrates four different ways people might respond according to their state of mind, readiness and general interest. God is plating seeds. Do you know His seed? How do you receive His seed? Answer the phone when God calls you, and more measure you’ll be given.

Mark 4:24-25 (NKJV)
24 Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. 25 For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”

Growing closer go God. Seeking intimacy with God. Growing faith in me is His measure of faith. We grow in the Spirit which Christ gives us all. Glory upon glory. Then, we must hear, we must do and we must produce in order to experience a greater Measure of the Gift of Grace in our lives. The ball is in our court. We have no excuse.

Ephesians 4:11-13 (NIV)
11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Prayer: May His glory be poured out for you. May God bless you and move you to desire a greater measure of anointing. Be mature and become a new wine skin to receive His fresh fire. Go in His love, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
