- The last Word of the Old Testament is “smite the earth with a curse.” The first word that Jesus spoke in his first sermon is “Blessed are” you.
- The old covenant was established through Moses and the law. The new covenant is established through Jesus Christ and his sacrifice.
- The old: law of Moses. The new: law of liberty.
- The old covenant was contingent on adherence. The new covenant is given by a measure of faith.
- The old tradition was avoiding bad news. The new tradition is proclaiming the good news.
- The old tradition was more about God‘s wrath. The new tradition is about God‘s love.
- The old tradition was sedition. The new tradition is submission.
- Old grace: God’s favor. New grace: Divine influence

For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ
Decree: I am the unblemished lamb, covered in the blood, white and pure. I am the bride of Christ.
You are blessed by the Holy Spirit. We are sanctified in joy more abundantly.
