Testimony of an altar intercessor for a deliverance ministry… An angel, that we later named Dusty, came to a deliverance session tonight. The room was filled with angels, warring on our behalf. This child of God had been carrying demons for years. Some of these evil pests, gnats, had already been squashed during the session, but some lingered, now manifesting, hiding and resisting. The lead minister was now going after a strongman.
I had a vision of Jesus reaching his hand to the child of God as if saying “take my hand, my burden is light” but He was met with resistance, even ignored. Later, I saw a vision of Jesus washing the child’s feet. After a bit of battle, a specific angel appeared. He wasn’t waging war with spirits. He sat patiently as Jesus had been, steady and unwavering. There was something else different about this angel. Where all the angels that I’ve ever seen in the spirit have been white and light, this one was light but kind of brown or tan. Khaki. I could only explain it as dusty, like an angel that was once human and lived in the dust of the earth. It must be Jesus himself, I discerned.
The minister seemed frustrated with the progress, and was on the way to rest for a moment, having been kicked and punched. As they passed by us, asking, “what am I looking at?” I paused for a moment, thinking “I don’t know what you see.” I’ve been focused on what I see and what God shows me. We were both speechless, so they said they’d come back after this quick break.
The other altar intercessor gave four words: shame, resistance, unbelief, and familiar spirit. I gave, what I called “seeing in the spirit,” a description of Dusty, ending with “it must be Jesus himself.” The minister laughed at this and joy fell upon their expression as the fire of God poured down into the room, turning away from me to face the rest of the ministry team, the battle and reengage the enemy.
The minister’s mentor, a most Godly person, was present, and had asked me to clarify what I said to the minister about an angel being Jesus himself. I learned there’s a difference between “seeing in the spirit” and a “vision,” and what I saw was a vision.
The lead minister returned to the feet of the child of God. The minister’s tactics had been strong and aggressive while speaking to the demons. However, the minister now spoke to the child who was lucid at this time in a calm and compassionate tone about each of the four words that God gave us through the other intercessor. Each topic was discussed, so I was told. Then, taking my vision, asked if they ever knew anyone named Dusty. The demons had been keeping the knowledge of Jesus from the child, and they couldn’t utter the name Jesus. When they confessed they knew no one named Dusty, the oppression broke. The child was set free and regained knowledge of the Christ.
All the glory to God. I felt like a huge error in my gift of sight may have been the turning point in the success of this deliverance. Even in error, God turns it for good. When I am weak, He is strong.
A week has passed, and this child of God helped kick off the Sunday service with some testimony about seeing the light in a dark world and singing a few songs, praises to the Lord. Truly free indeed.
John 8:36 NIV

7 Be still before the Lord
and wait patiently for him;

1 It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
