The Lord spoke to me Monday night during a prayer meeting where we were cleansing our new church building: “vessel.“ I asked God, what does this mean? “Just as we are vessels, as children of God, so too, this place is a vessel,” thus saith the LORD.

This place is a house of light, a torch burning for the lost and weary. A beacon of hope, and a place of refuge from the darkness of the world. This is God’s house, His will be done and His works be done on earth as it is in heaven. Unity with the Lord dwells here. Jesus makes this way. This place is God’s House of Power.

Jesus is the King of Kings, Host of Hosts, Servant of Servants, Slave of Slaves. Just as we know Whose we are, this temple is His. We know who we are. This place is His temple, just as each of us is His temple.

The love of the Father. Hallowed be Your name. His spirit, that’s what we seek and that’s where we are. Thank you for giving us the faith to move mountains. Be the light for those in darkness. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you. Amen
